Evans HyCap Hybrid Capacitors are designed to provide reliable operation in a range of environments, including those with shock and vibration conditions. The HyCap series offers an unlimited shelf life and is rated for over 2000 hours of operation. The construction uses sintered tantalum anodes and ruthenium oxide-coated cathodes in aqueous electrolyte, protected by a tantalum case with both a compressed gasket and a hermetically welded glass-to-metal seal. These capacitors feature a rated voltage range of 10V_DC to 150V_DC and a capacitance range of 68μF to 2700μF with ±20% tolerance. Ideal applications for Evans HyCap Hybrid Capacitors include energy, industrial, space, and military.

HyCap High-Temp Hybrid Capacitors

Evans HyCap High-Temp Hybrid Capacitors are designed for operation in extreme shock environments with temperatures of up to +200°C. The capacitors offer robust construction in the largest traditional D(T4) case style. These HyCap devices feature sintered tantalum anodes and ruthenium oxide-coated cathodes operating in aqueous electrolyte. The components are confined within a tantalum case with a compressed gasket and a hermetically welded glass-to-metal seal. Specifications include a 22μF to 1800μF capacitance range with ±20% tolerance, 25V_DC to 75V_DC rated voltage range, and up to 2000 hours of operation. Evans HyCap High-Temp Hybrid Capacitors are suitable for industrial, space, energy, and military applications.
