The PRT-17867 features a four-layer construction style and the PRT-17868 features a three-layer construction style while providing access to all buttons and ports on the micro:bit. The benefit of using these cases is to not accidentally short out the pads on the back of the micro:bit. The PRT-17867/68 cases come with a clear case material that shows the onboard LEDs in perfect clarity.
