Aptiv HES Circular Connectors
Aptiv (formerly Delphi) Harsh Environment Series (HES) Circular Connectors feature a rugged construction that withstands high vibration to meet SAE J-2030 standards. These connectors have a specialized finger design that virtually eliminates terminal unseats to achieve better contact (terminal) retention, up to 40% compared to existing designs. Sealing performance exceeds existing designs with a recessed three-rib design that maintains sealing properties even if a tight wire dress is applied. The three-rib design allows the Aptiv HES Circular Connectors to achieve up to 30% better-sealing capability when compared to existing designs.
HES Circular Connectors are ideally suited for connections in a vehicle sheet metal firewall passthrough locations. In addition, the rugged construction makes the HES Connectors well-suited for engine compartments. The offering includes six terminal configurations (47, 31, 29, 23, 21, and 19) with and without backshells. Aptiv HES Connectors are available with straight and right angle conduit wire dress covers on both receptacle and plug assemblies.
