AB08x5/AB18x5 Real-Time Clock Family

Abracon AB08x5/AB18x5 Real-Time Clock (RTC) Family feature power requirements as low as 15nA and a micro CMOS platform that is based on Abracon's innovative Sub-threshold Power-Optimized Technology (SPOT) by Ambiq Micro. These products include the AB08x5 Real-Time Clock Family and AB18x5 Real-Time Clock with Power Management Family. The clocks utilize on-chip oscillators to provide minimum power consumption and full RTC functions, including battery backup and programmable counters and alarms for timer and watchdog functions. They use either an I²C or SPI serial interface for communication with a host controller. Ideal applications include smart cards, wireless sensors and tags, medical electronics, utility meters, data loggers, appliances, and much more.
