Banner Engineering WORLD-BEAM QS18U Ultrasonic Sensors with TEACH-mode programming offer a versatile, accurate, and effective solution for the toughest application challenges. The built-in temperature compensation allows the sensor to self-correct for environmental conditions and maintain the highest sensing accuracy under changing conditions. These miniature ultrasonic sensors use sound waves, not light, making them ideal for sensing through problematic clear materials. Banner Engineering WORLD-BEAM QS18U Ultrasonic Sensors are inherently impervious to color differences, high reflectivity, and glare, all of which are application challenges for photoelectrics. 

Ultrasonic Solutions

Banner Engineering Ultrasonic Solutions provide non-contact sensing for industrial applications that require reliable detection or the measurement of challenging targets. The sensors use high-frequency sound waves instead of light, enabling object detection regardless of color, transparency, reflectivity, or surface finish. The sensors measure the target's presence and position by emitting sound waves and analyzing the reflected echoes. The sensor lineup offers a wide variety of housings, mounting styles, sensing distances, and output configurations, such as discrete, analog, relay, and wireless serial.
