Das Würth Elektronik Calypso Wi-Fi®-Modul ist ein kompaktes Modul, das auf dem IEEE 802.11b/g/n mit einem vollausgestatteten TCP/IP-Stapel basiert. Dieses Modul verfügt über verzinnte Kanten, eine Smart-Antennen-Konfiguration und eine benutzerfreundliche Befehlsschnittstelle im AT-Stil. Das Modul verfügt über fortschrittliche Sicherheitsfunktionen, wie z. B. sechs simultane Secure Sockets, Secure Boot, Secure Storage und Secure OTA-Aktualisierung. Dieses Modul unterstützt IPv4 und IPv6 und implementiert einsatzbereite Netzwerkapplikationen wie SNTP, DHPv4, DHCPv6, mDNS, HPPT(S) und MQTT. Das Calypso-Modul wird mit einer WFA81685 Wi-Fi-Zertifizierung geliefert. Zu den typischen Applikationen gehören serieller Kabelersatz, stromsparende IoT-Applikation und Sensor-zu-Cloud-Gerät.
