Lite-Trap W2B Vertical Entry Connector

Lite-Trap W2B Vertical Entry Connectors provide a vertical-mount option for securing wires to PCBs. Typical applications for Lite-Trap W2B Vertical Entry Connector include PCBs in security devices, datacom equipment, LED drivers, and other applications to offer cost-effectiveness within limited design spaces. The vertical entry wire-entry version meets the need for narrow spacing between PCBs and modules. The simplified design, quality, and ruggedness are improved with the wire stopper, double contact terminals, and an additional terminal guide.

Lite-Trap Connector System

Molex Lite-Trap and Mini Lite-Trap SMT wire-to-board connectors offer profile heights down to 2.65mm, easy wire removal, low wire insertion, and high wire retention forces, making them ideal for thin LED lighting-module applications. Molex Lite-Trap connectors employ an easy-to-use latch that can be opened or closed even without using a tool. The Lite-Trap's housing design enables the use of a wider insulation-length range than similar products. This feature, coupled with a dual-contact wire-trap design, provides stable wire seating and electrical contact assurance. Available options include standard, mini, vertical entry, bottom entry, and contact terminals.
