AMD / Xilinx Spartan™ UltraScale+™ FPGAs
AMD Spartan™ UltraScale+™ FPGAs implement the AMD UltraScale architecture and are ideal for a wide range of applications that demand high I/O counts, state-of-the-art security features, and low power. The Spartan UltraScale+ FPGAs are optimized for use in applications such as I/O expansion, sensor processing and control, and board management, with densities ranging from 11K to 218K logic cells and up to 572 I/Os.
The AMD Spartan UltraScale+ SU200P FPGA expands the Spartan UltraScale+ portfolio with its largest programmable logic device, featuring up to 218K system logic cells, support for up to 572 user I/Os, PCIe® Gen4, GTH transceivers operating up to 16.3Gb/s, and LPDDR4X/LPDDR5/LPDDR5X memory interfaces. Built on proven 16nm FinFET technology, it combines performance, power efficiency, and scalability for embedded, industrial, networking, and data center applications. Advanced security features include hardware root of trust, secure boot, PUF-based device authentication, and CNSA 2.0-aligned post-quantum cryptography (PQC) support. Footprint compatibility across the Spartan UltraScale+ family and a lifecycle commitment through 2045+ can help streamline migration between devices and reduce redesign effort.
AMD Vivado™ design tools support the AMD Spartan UltraScale+ FPGAs and complement other AMD devices, including AMD Artix™ UltraScale+ FPGAs, AMD Artix 7 FPGAs, AMD Spartan 7 FPGAs, and AMD Spartan 6 FPGAs.
