Texas Instruments ESD2CANFD24W-Q1 ESD Protection Diodes

Texas Instruments ESD2CANFD24W-Q1 ESD Protection Diodes are automotive, bidirectional protection devices designed for Controller Area Network (CAN) interface protection in in-vehicle networks. The two-channel device protects the CANH and CANL bus lines from electrostatic discharge and other transients, while using a compact DFN1110-3 package with wettable flanks for automotive assembly.

The ESD2CANFD24W-Q1 combines low IO capacitance, low dynamic resistance, and low clamping voltage to help protect downstream components and support robust system-level transient protection. The TI ESD2CANFD24W-Q1 ESD Protection Diodes are designed for CAN, CAN FD, CAN SIC, and CAN XL applications, and the typical 2pF line capacitance supports data rates up to 10Mbps.

The diodes are designed for automotive networks that need reliable ESD and surge protection in safety-critical environments. The device is active, automotive-rated, and specified for a -55°C to +150°C operating temperature range, making it suitable for demanding vehicle electronics applications.
