Texas Instruments TLC69621-Q1 8-Ch LED Driver
Texas Instruments TLC69621-Q1 8-Ch LED Driver is an automotive local-dimming backlight LED driver with eight constant-current sink channels. The driver supports up to 16-bit individual pixel-level LED PWM control and adds 7-bit dot correction for channel-level peak-current adjustment in automotive display backlighting systems.
The TI TLC69621-Q1 communicates via an SPI interface and supports data sharing across daisy-chained devices, enabling scalable LED system designs. The TI TLC69621-Q1 8-Ch LED Driver also includes adaptive headroom voltage control to optimize headroom voltage across channels and devices, helping improve system power efficiency when paired with a DC/DC LED supply.
The TLC69621-Q1 is ideal for automotive central information displays, cluster displays, and head-up displays. The device integrates diagnostics for LED, current sink, interface, and device fault conditions, and it is available in 16-pin X2QFN wettable flank and SOT-23-THIN package options.
