Die TE Connectivity/AMP Connectors PIDG-Anschlüsse bestehen aus einem Körper aus Kupfer mit Zinnbeschichtung oder Phosphor-Bronze mit Zinnbeschichtung für Federgabeln plus einer farbigen Kupferisolierhülle über einer Anschlusshülse. Sie sind für einheitliche Zuverlässigkeit in schwierigsten Schaltkreisumgebungen konstruiert. Das spezielle Design der Werkzeugformen und die Konstruktion des Anschlusses ermöglicht eine einheitliche Isolierungsstärke unter Crimp-Druck, wodurch dieser Druck gleichmäßig an das Zentrum des Crimp-Bereichs weitergeleitet wird.
